This study began as a technical and conceptual inquiry: how might AI meaningfully integrate into an existing motion practice rather than replace it? Alongside this question, the work became an opportunity to deepen procedural workflows in Houdini—experimenting with rig attribute wrangles and projection mapping.

Procedural Foundations
Initial exploration focused on building a structured environment within Houdini—testing projection techniques and procedural control. The goal was not novelty, but coherence between technical structure and visual tone.

AI as Material
Experiments from TouchDesigner and early Midjourney animation tests were introduced as compositional elements.
Rather than treating AI output as spectacle, the study approached it as raw material—layered, looped, and integrated into a controlled visual system.
